Born and raised on the small island of Catalina off the coast of Los Angeles, California, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the ocean and small coastal communities. After several years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard and time spent piloting commercial tugboats between San Francisco and San Diego, I realized that each return flight to work was getting harder — and that it was time to make a change.
Settling in Nosara was one of the best decisions of my life. I met my wife walking along the beach, and together we’ve been fortunate to raise our two boys in this incredible community we call home.
I’ve been a licensed real estate agent in Costa Rica with the CCCBR since 2008, beginning my career with Reef Realty before joining Surfing Nosara in 2014. As our company grew, we purchased the Coldwell Banker brand to expand our reach and enhance the level of service and global exposure we could offer our clients. In 2019, I earned my Coldwell Banker Global Luxury certification, allowing me to further elevate the experience for my friends and clients looking to own property here in Nosara while continuing to manage many beautiful homes throughout the community.
My connection to Nosara runs deep. My parents built and opened a boutique hotel here in 1998, and helping them in the day-to-day operations gave me firsthand experience in how to successfully run a business in Costa Rica. Over the years, I’ve been proud to contribute to the community through local initiatives such as wildlife refuge programs, reforestation projects, and emergency planning efforts.
Nosara isn’t just where I work — it’s home. And helping others discover and build their lives here continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Kyle Bombard, real estate agent with roots in tourism—granddad built Two Harbors, Catalina, CA’s charm; we started Harbor Reef, a boutique hotel here in nineteen ninety-eight, sold it in twenty-sixteen, and that’s when I stepped into real estate full time. Our family founded a wildlife rescue in ninety-nine, now thriving as IAR Costa Rica, saving howler monkeys & local wildlife. I love educating newcomers about Nosara—its direction, its heart—and helping them find their place here, so growth stays sustainable.
Daisy Ureña
Vacation Rental Manager
Originally from Costa Rica, Daisy has called Nosara home for over five years. As a dedicated Vacation Rental Manager, she loves helping homeowners achieve their goals by optimizing bookings based on each property’s unique rental strategy. Her greatest satisfaction comes from seeing both homeowners and guests enjoy a seamless, happy experience.
When she’s not working, you can find Daisy enjoying morning walks on Playa Pelada with her small Pomeranian, Chester, or staying active through boxing, tennis, and pilates. Her local insight, passion for hospitality, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of the Surfing Nosara team.

Realter
Kley has been a realtor for two years, bringing his local expertise and intimate knowledge of Nosara’s to every client he serves. What drives him most is sharing the authentic essence of Nosara with his clients showing them why this special place is perfect for living, investing, or creating unforgettable vacation memories. Guided by the expertise and friendship of his mentors Rich Burnam and Jim Ewing, he’s grown both professionally and personally.
What Kley loves most about Nosara is the genuine community spirit and the area’s refreshing simplicity, qualities that keep life grounded in what matters. Being surrounded by successful, inspiring friends and mentors who share their wisdom daily fuels his passion for real estate. When he’s not working, you’ll find Kley catching waves, casting a line offshore, or enjoying a margarita at Howlers for sunset.

Kaiya grew up in Nosara and has been part of the SN family since 2009, when her family first moved to the area. With deep local roots and years of experience on the photography team, she has joined the rental team as a full-time booking agent. This high season, she’ll also be providing some of the daily surf reports and offering exclusive private photography/videography sessions.. Her main focus, however, is helping guests find the right landing spot for their personalized vacation experience. With her strong understanding of Nosara and love for her home, Kaiya is here to make the booking process smooth, personal, and stress-free.

Nina is part of Surfing Nosara’s sales team, where she brings her passion for teamwork and community to every interaction. Deeply driven by the mission to help Nosara grow consciously, she’s committed to protecting the jungle that makes this place so special.
Her days often start with peaceful morning walks from Playa Pelada to Guiones, soaking in the beauty that inspires her work. When she’s not connecting with clients or collaborating with her team, you’ll likely find her enjoying a good coffee and laughter with friends at Café Paris or Outpost.

My role at Surfing Nosara is to help clients understand property issues that can affect their purchases, I.e., drainage, water accessibility, building permits, building costs, and general construction.
I enjoy being the professionalism and wide ranging capabilities of Surfing Nosara Coldwell Banker. I enjoy being part of an elite team that meets and surpasses the expectations of our clients.
On a personal note, I like to participate in church activities, helping the less fortunate, building homes for families that have been suffering without, surfing, and trying to stay fit and healthy.

After years in the real estate industry in Boston and Nosara, he brings a mix of local knowledge and big-picture perspective to every deal. When not working with clients, you’ll probably find him in the water or on the pickleball courts.

Im the Office Manager at Surfing Nosara and have been part of the team for over eight years. As someone who’s lived in this area my whole life, I care deeply about our community and the people who make Nosara special. What I love most about my job is being part of a team that feels like family and staying connected with both locals and visitors. Outside of work, I enjoy biking around town, training jiu-jitsu, fishing, and catching a few waves when the water is warm.
